Earlier this week, we released World Update XVII: United Kingdom & Ireland. This update includes 16 TIN cities, 79 Points of interest (POIs), and 5 handcrafted airports. As with all World Updates, it is available to download for FREE from the in-sim Marketplace.
Also this week, we launched Local Legend 18: Westland Scout & Wasp. These two Cold War-era British military helicopters come together in a bundle from the in-sim Marketplace for USD $14.99. You can read more about the Scout and Wasp on our website here.
We also recently released a small update for Local Legend 16: Short SC.7 Skyvan. This update is available from Content Manager, and you can read the release notes here.

- As of 07/21, we have now approved 295 (+2) third parties into the in-sim marketplace and – so far 235 (+0) have released 3,912 products on PC (+105) and 3,666 on Xbox (+108).
- In total, 4,646 products (+37) have already been released in 3rd party stores and the in-sim marketplace. Beyond that, another 777 products (-27) from 3rd party developers are in production (337 announced, 440 unannounced). In total, over 5,423 3rd party products (+9) have either been released or are in development.
- Airports:
- 2,409 airports (+0) are either released or are in various stages of development.
- 2,211 airports (+1) have been released on the platform so far in various stores.
- 1,716 airports (+5) have been released in the in-sim marketplace.
- 107 airports (+0) beyond the released airports have been announced.

Community Fly-In Friday
This week is the Farnborough International Airshow, hosted biennially (in even-numbered years) in the UK! Together with the Paris Air Show (in odd-numbered years), this is the aerospace industry’s biggest trade exhibition and an important event for aircraft manufacturers and their civilian and military customers.
Also this week, we released the latest update to Microsoft Flight Simulator: World Update XVII: UK & Ireland.
This week’s Fly-In will see us tour many of the new landmarks and POIs in the new World Update as we make our way towards the final full stop destination of EGLF, site of the Farnborough International Airshow.
